Day 2

Luxor-Esna-Edfu

A new day begins with your first breakfast onboard, followed by a visit to the West Bank of Luxor. Your journey starts at the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place for the pharaohs of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties. The tombs, adorned with intricate and vibrant wall paintings, are a must-see highlight of any West Bank visit.

Next, explore the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut, beautifully set against the cliffs at the edge of the desert. Partly carved into the rock, this temple showcases Queen Hatshepsut in the guise of a male pharaoh, with a beard and short apron, to emphasize her full authority as a ruler.

Finish the day with a visit to the massive Colossi of Memnon. These towering statues once emitted a musical note at sunrise, creating the myth that Memnon was greeting his mother, Eos, with a soft, plaintive sound.

After this exploration of the Theban "City of the Dead," you will return to the boat for lunch while it sails towards Edfu via Esna. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea on the sundeck before being invited to the Manager’s Cocktail Party at the bar.

As the boat sails majestically toward Edfu, dinner will be served. The cruise will spend the night in Edfu.

Day 3

Edfu-Kom Ombo-Aswan

After breakfast onboard, you'll transfer to visit the Temple of Edfu. The towering sandstone walls of the temple are adorned with enormous hieroglyphics and dazzling friezes, reflecting the grandeur of past pharaohs.

Following your visit to this impressive temple, you’ll return to the boat, which will continue its journey towards Kom Ombo.

After lunch, enjoy a delightful afternoon tea on the sundeck while the boat sails past Kom Ombo and continues toward Aswan.

In the evening, dinner will be served, and later you’re invited to the lively Galabeya Party at the bar. The cruise will spend the night in Aswan.

Day 4

Aswan

After breakfast, you’ll visit the Aswan High Dam, one of modern Egypt’s most celebrated and controversial engineering feats. Construction began in 1960 and took 11 years to complete.

Next, enjoy a short felucca sail to visit the Temples of Philae, an ancient center for the cult of Isis. Thanks to UNESCO’s rescue project during the construction of the Aswan High Dam, the temples were carefully relocated block by block from their original location on Philae Island to Agilika Island.

You’ll then explore the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive 41-meter-long, 4-meter-wide chunk of stone. If completed, this obelisk would have weighed 1,168 tons, making it the largest ever carved.

After lunch, enjoy a relaxing felucca ride on the Nile, followed by a visit to the Botanical Garden—a perfect opportunity to connect with nature.

In the evening, after dinner, you're invited to enjoy the Nubian Show at the bar. The cruise will spend the night in Aswan.

Day 5

Next, visit Luxor Temple, which was initially built by Amenophis III and later expanded by other pharaohs. It is dedicated to the god Amun.

After exploring these ancient Theban temples, you will return to the boat. As the Nile flows gently beneath you, dinner will be served. The cruise will spend the night in Luxor. After dinner, you're invited to enjoy a Belly Dance & Dervish show in the bar. The cruise will overnight in Luxor.
