1. Karnak Temple Complex:

• Overview: Begin with the vast Karnak Temple, one of Egypt’s largest and most impressive temple complexes. Built over 2,000 years, this site was the primary religious center during the New Kingdom and dedicated to the god Amun-Ra.
• Highlights: Explore the Hypostyle Hall, an awe-inspiring space filled with massive columns intricately carved with hieroglyphs. Don’t miss the Sacred Lake and the Obelisks of Hatshepsut and Thutmose III. The Avenue of Sphinxes that once connected Karnak to Luxor Temple adds to the temple’s grandeur.

2. Luxor Temple:

• Overview: Next, visit Luxor Temple, located close to the Nile River. Unlike Karnak, which was primarily for the gods, Luxor Temple was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship, and pharaohs often used it for royal ceremonies.
• Highlights: The temple’s entrance features a grand pylon adorned with scenes of military victories, and a towering obelisk stands beside it. Wander through the colonnade of Amenhotep III and the sanctuary, where the temple’s history under different rulers, including Alexander the Great, is evident.
